Hazel's Happy Tail

Kathy writes: "Our family adopted Hazel from the Pet Adoption Center on the first day of spring this year. In the previous year, we had lost our two long-time companion cats, Nick in April and Sophie in July, and were beginning to really miss having a cat around. After hearing of other happy adoptions from the center, we decided to go visit the cats “just to see.” We met Hazel on our first visit and it was love at first sight. We found it especially enchanting that the stripes on her left side formed a heart shape. She has been with us now for nearly a month and we could not be more satisfied with her. She has been a sweet friend, made up of just the right combination of dependence and independence, and has a special relationship with each one of us."
